Having cut his teeth with mixtapes and bootlegs spread around the Internet, most notably his collaboration with Lil'B, Star Slinger operates from the underground to forge a name for himself on the club scene. A DJ and producer, his speciality is a sort of mixture of syncopated house, bootylicious hip-hop and shiny IDM on a very danceable tip. He is not guesting for The Roots at Rootspicnic for nothing.
