One of dance music’s most playful and persuasive DJs, DJ Gigola has already established herself as a Sónar favourite in a few short years.  Part of the multifaceted Live From Earth collective, the Berlin native is a free-spirited modern DJ - you might hear Surgeon and Madonna a few tracks apart. We think she might even have coined the term ‘genre-fluid’, 

Obsessed with rhythm and groove, but open-minded enough to free herself from that rigid codes that defined techno for so many years, she seamlessly blends high-intensity 90s cuts - trance, hardcore, techno and acid - with new school rave, club tracks, and dashes of pop music. Her experiments aren’t confined to the club either: inspired by her yoga and meditation practice, she’s released an album of guided meditations featuring ASMR vocals, field recordings and goa-style tabla drums.

Her sets at Sónar and Sónar Lisboa in 2024 are already part of the Sónar canon, and we can’t wait to have her back again in 2026.
