The 21-year-old Andalusian singer’s distinctive, personal mix of tradition and experimentation makes her the future of Spanish pop music

Judeline is the next big star of Spanish music, a precocious talent who already has the world at her feet. After a series collaborations with leading Spanish artists including Alizzz, Oddliquor and Tuiste, her five-song 2022 EP De la Luz confirmed her talent. Released when she was just 19 years old, it’s a fully formed record that explores new frontiers in pop music, whilst remaining rooted in the rich musical tradition of southern Spain (she grew up in Andalucia). She’s developed a distinctive artistic voice that’s entirely her own: a melting point of hand-clapped rhythms, pop experimentation and the emotion of flamenco. Hot off a series of dates opening for J. Balvin across Europe, come see her at Sónar by Day, before she conquers the world.
