Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night are uniting to offer an upgraded experience: Sónar. One venue, one event, one ticket. Find out more here.
Sónar+D will still take place this year, with part of the programme located in the city centre exclusively for Sónar+D ticketholders (more information available soon) and a significant presence throughout the rest of the festival. The programme in the centre of the city will maintain the same character as in previous years, while the expansion to Fira Gran Via will enable us to introduce new elements - interactive installations and digital art exhibits – that improve the festival experience for the general public.
On Thursday 18 June Sónar will run from 17:00 until 03:00 the following morning. On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June, we’ll also open doors at 17:00, but the music goes on until 07:00 the following morning.
Everything. You’ll be able to attend all three sessions of Sónar (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) in Fira Gran Via – which will include elements of Sónar+D, open to the general public - as well as the standalone Sónar+D programme in the centre of the city (more details available soon).
You’ll be able to attend all three sessions of Sónar (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) at Fira Gran Via.
If you’d like to attend all three days of Sónar (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) at Fira Gran Via, you should purchase a SonarPass (or a SonarPass+D, if you’d also like to attend all of the Sónar+D programme).
If you’d like to come for just one day, you’ll be able to purchase a ticket for either Thursday, Friday or Saturday. These tickets will go on sale at a later date. A Thursday Ticket gives you access to Fira Gran Via between 17:00 and 03:00 on Thursday, while Friday and Saturday Tickets give you access to the festival between 17:00 and 07:00 the following morning on either Friday or Saturday. More information about tickets coming soon.
If you’d like to attend the Friday and Saturday sessions of Sónar 2026, you’ll be able to purchase a Weekend Ticket (these will go on sale very soon). This year, we’ll open the doors to Fira Gran Via at 17:00 instead of 08:30, so you’ll be able to enjoy more hours of music with one single ticket. If you’d also like to join us on Thursday (from 17:00 to 03:00 the following morning), grab a SonarPass, which gives you access to all three days of Sónar 2026.
And if you usually only do a single night of Sónar, you’ll be able to purchase a Friday or Saturday ticket, which will go on sale at a later date. These tickets offer you access to Sónar 2026 at Fira Gran Via on either Friday or Saturday, from 17:00 to 07:00 the following morning. More information about tickets coming soon.
Yes. Once we’ve announced more information about Sónar+D 2026, we’ll release standalone tickets for the events held in the city centre. And of course, if you’d like to attend Sónar as well, you can already purchase a SonarPass+D, which gives you access to all Sónar and Sónar+D events in 2026.
We’ll reveal all the types of ticket available for Sónar 2026 soon, but as stated above, Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night have been united: a single event, in a single venue. This means that with a single ticket for each day, you’ll be able to access the venue between 17:00 and 03:00 (on Thursday) or 07:00 (on Friday and Saturday) the following morning.
Sónar will feature six stages: three indoor and three outdoor.
On Thursday, there’ll be a full programme for SonarVillage by Estrella Damm, SonarHall, SonarPark and SonarCar. On Friday and Saturday, SonarClub and SonarLab will also be open.
Certain stages will open from the start (17:00 each day) and others will open later during the evening. Some stages will be open until the festival closes each (03:00 on Thursday, 07:00 on Friday and Saturday), while others will close a little earlier. We’ll reveal the exact timetables for each stage soon.
Yes. SonarClub, SonarLab and SonarCar will be in the same spaces as always, and SonarVillage by Estrella Damm will take over the area previously occupied by SonarPub. In addition, we’ll also be using new areas within Fira Gran Via. SonarPark will be moved outdoors, with an entirely redesigned, expanded and improved staging; and we’ll also have a brand-new SonarHall with improved staging, allowing for more live shows and DJ sets in each session.
We'll be running shuttle buses and organising transport options to get to and from Fira Gran Via from central Barcelona. More information will be provided soon.
We know this is a major question for many of you given the change of format. We're currently working on this point and will be able to provide you more information very soon.
There’ll be no additional costs for any of these activities. In short, with any Sónar ticket you’ll be able to experience any of the activities taking place in the venue that day, including any installations or exhibitions. There’s no longer any difference between Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night, so you’ll be able to easily move between SonarHall to SonarClub and then from SonarClub to SonarVillage in just a few minutes. With one single ticket you can experience the full line-up for each session, from the afternoon through to the night.
Both! At Fira Gran Via we’ll have three indoor stages (SonarClub, SonarHall, and SonarCar) and three outdoor stages (SonarVillage by Estrella Damm, SonarLab SonarPark).
Yes, Sónar+D will have a presence throughout Fira Gran Via, as part of the full Sónar programme. We’ll share more details about the full Sónar+D programme very soon.
