At Sónar we want to transform Barcelona into the global capital for music, innovation, creativity and technology, each and every June. This year, we’re expanding Sónar Week even further, with activities from one end of the city to the other.
Beyond the main event - three days of Sónar at Fira Gran Via - at the heart of Sónar Week 2026 you’ll Sónar+D, now located in its new home at Llotja de Mar. From 10am to 8pm on both Thursday 18th and Friday 19th June, this year come and experience a rebooted version of our ‘event like no other’, with standalone tickets that make it easier than ever to attend Sónar+D. The rest of the programme is unchanged, with our conference that thinks like a festival continuing to bring together Barcelona’s creative communities with open-minded members of the public. With the new location in the city centre, Sónar+D acts as both a link and a central hub for the rest of the events that week.
The other headline for 2026 is the return of Sónar Kids, our parallel programme designed to bring Music and Creativity to families. It’s an invitation to both artists and audience to create a shared experience that broadens and refreshes the idea of children’s and family entertainment. The programme will feature activities designed to awaken and stimulate creativity for the youngest members of the family. As well as taking in their first creative experiences and musical performances, they’ll be encouraged to learn, experiment with sound and experience art in new ways.
Sónar Kids will take place on Saturday 20th June at Parc del Fòrum, as part of Sónar District, which further expands the musical programme of Sónar Week. It will also be the home for three of the most crucial event series and parties in contemporary electronic music, hosting Solid Grooves on Friday 19th June, plus Metamorfosi by Joseph Capriati and You&Me by Josh Baker on Saturday 20th June.
And it wouldn’t be Sónar Week without OFFSónar, which rounds out the musical events. This year the Poble Espanyol will be taken over by some of the biggest labels and events around: from Rampa & Adam Port (two-thirds of global phenomenon Keinemusik) and X by Adriatique to Baddest Behaviour by Mau P, Lone Romantic by Maceo Plex, Fuse London and Mochakk Calling, without forgetting, of course, the annual elrow closing party on Sunday 21st June.
