What happens when (almost) millennia-old heritage is projected into the future?
This talk brings together digital artists and cultural heritage experts to discuss Lux Mundi, the audiovisual mapping curated by Antònia Folguera at Sant Climent de Taüll. A piece that transforms the Romanesque apse into a meeting point between the sacred and the technological, between pigment and digital light.
With contributions from Alba G. Corral, Massó, Desilence, and Albert Sierra (Catalonia’s Directorate General of Cultural Heritage), we’ll explore how digital languages can activate new readings of our historical legacy. Because perhaps there’s nothing more radical than looking back with our eyes wide open to the future.
A session to discover the process behind the reproduction of the apse of Sant Climent de Taüll and its audiovisual mappings, as presented at Sónar+D.
